The tentative schedule for the hearing is as follows. This schedule and locations are subject to change as may be necessary during the course of the administrative hearing or if settlement is reached with any of the parties prior to or at the hearing.

The hearing will be available by videoconference in Las Vegas (555 East Washington, Room 4401).

The hearing will also be on the Internet at www.leg.state.nv.us under Live Meetings.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Public comment is limited to 5 minutes per person. Written public comment may be sent until Nov. 3, 2006. Please see information at right for details. There may be time for additional public comment from Carson City at the end of the hearing.

Public comment from Carson City, Ely, Baker and Las Vegas will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by a continuation of Applicant’s case if there is any additional time left. The State Engineer has arranged videoconferencing for Friday, September 15th in order to allow those in eastern Nevada and southern Nevada the opportunity to present public comments.

Locations have been arranged for public comment on September 15, 2006.

Written Public Comment

As set forth in the Intermediate Order and Hearing Notice of March 8, 2006, the State Engineer will accept written public comment regarding the use of water as applied for under the applications. The new deadline for written public comments is Nov. 3, 2006.
