Jennifer Newmark was named administrator of the Nevada Natural Heritage Program in 2008. She previously served since 1999 as a biologist, and then supervising biologist, for Nevada Natural Heritage.

Newmark received her master’s degree in Biology from Boston University and her bachelor of science in Conservation Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
