Cathy Barcomb is administrator for the Nevada Commission for the Preservation of Wild Horses and has been with the commission as executive director/administrator since 1989. In her more than 19 years, Barcomb has served on many boards, committees, resource advisory councils and investigative teams working to sustain viable herds of wild horses and burros in Nevada.
Barcomb is certified by Peace Officers Standards and Training for horse abuse investigation and specific emergency rescues. She received a degree in business administration from North Carolina State University and degrees in animal science/equine studies/pre-veterinary/nutrition from New York State University in Cobleskill. |
