ALLEN BIAGGI
Director

Allen Biaggi was appointed director of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in 2004. Prior to being named to this Cabinet-level position, Biaggi was the administrator of the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection for six years and worked for the division in various capacities for 27 years.

As director, Biaggi is responsible for the divisions of Environmental Protection, Forestry, Water Resources, State Parks, State Lands, Natural Heritage, Conservation Districts and the Wild Horse Commission.

His professional affiliations include membership on the Governing Board of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, California-Nevada Tahoe Fire Commission, State Petroleum Board, Western States Water Council and the Commission on Workplace Safety and Community Protection. Biaggi holds a degree in Hydrology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
